The Core Gameplay

Discover 20+ cannabis strains with stylised visual personalities and unique growing requirements. Your plants grow faster when you're focused in other applications - working, studying, gaming, whatever. GrowBud rewards real productivity by accelerating growth when you're being productive elsewhere.

Plants progress through complete cycles - vegetative, pre-flowering, flowering, harvest, and recovery. Level up individual strains through five mastery levels to unlock genetic research and produce perfect 6-star buds worthy of Golden Status.

Progression Systems

Fulfil orders for the local dispensary, premium buyers, and rush requests to earn gold, unlock strains, and gain rewards.

Complete challenges across two progression systems: The Grow Club (led by Sage) to master quality and craft, and The Bud Club (with Blaze) to dominate efficiency and yield. Progress simultaneously through both paths to unlock more content.

Level 3 club challenges will arrive in a free content update in the coming weeks - we prioritised polishing the core experience for launch. Levels 1-2 in each club are fully featured and ready to play today.

Gene Expressions & Upgrades

Unlock gene expressions to customise strain characteristics and reshape how you play. Gene expressions enhance traits and unlock different playstyles.

Purchase care buffs from the Vending Machine to temporarily boost plant health, growth speed, or other attributes. Find hidden items scattered throughout your experience that unlock special bonuses.

Activities & Minigames

Navigate stage transition encounters featuring games of chance - coin toss, dice roll, cup shuffle, rock-paper-scissors. Every growth stage has a chance to present random care events that can help or hinder your harvest. The deeper you progress, the stranger things get.

Unlock and play the club minigames: spin the Wheel of Fortune for mysterious prizes, test your luck at Blackjack, or master the Crane Game to unlock customisation options.

Start with two sheds and expand to managing multiple grow houses simultaneously. Customise each space with themes and decorations. Seasonal holiday content adds festive flair throughout the year.

The core loop is brief interactions with individual plants - stage transitions, environmental adjustments, and optional encounter minigames. Want more engagement? The clubhouse offers games, challenges to strategise around, orders to fulfill, and grow houses to customise. Want less? Just tend your plants and ignore the extras.
