About This Game

A funny, emotional text-based romance where your awkward crush meets accidental magic. Make branching choices, build relationships, and maybe ruin Valentine’s Day with a love potion that definitely shouldn’t have worked.

Detailed Description

You’re Rayne: dramatic, clever, painfully honest, and hopelessly in love with a theater boy who barely knows her name. Valentine’s Day starts with a staged self-love ritual and a misspelled cookie... and quickly spirals. Armed with a suspiciously ancient spellbook discovered in her attic, Rayne brews a magical “Elixir of Affection” in a misguided attempt to make her crush, Phoenix, finally notice her. But love isn’t that simple, and neither is magic. What starts as a desperate Valentine’s scheme morphs into a tangled web of secrets, unexpected friendships, and consequences.

Every choice matters: snarky remarks, sincere apologies, reckless potions, and awkward moments with ex-best-friends or mortal enemies shape Rayne’s path. The story branches with each decision, determining not only how the drama unfolds, but how Rayne grows. Will she gain confidence or spiral into anxiety? Earn loyalty or burn bridges?

Romance, rivalry, identity, and the occasional milk mustache all collide in this heartfelt, hilarious tale of teen love, self-discovery, and magic gone slightly wrong.

Why You’ll Love It

Love Potions Suck is a choice-driven story for anyone who loves heartfelt coming-of-age drama, sharp banter, and the magic of teenage crushes. Your crushes are messy. Your magic is messier. And only your choices will decide whether Rayne’s Valentine ends in heartbreak, hilarity, or something real.
