Reenchant

In Reenchant, you take on the role of an ancient Tree Spirit, defending your home against relentless lumberjacks. As they tear down your forest, it's up to you to restore nature and preserve its beauty.

Grow Your Defenses

Regrow trees from scattered trunks to form natural towers. Each tree type gains strength when grouped, so strategic planting is key. Assign friendly forest spirits to your trees. They will distract, slow and frighten the lumberjacks until you're strong enough to drive them away for good.

Befriend Forest Creatures

When you're not defending, explore the island and aid its inhabitants. In return, they’ll gift you Mana and reveal hidden tips to deepen your understanding of the game.

Master Your Movement

Collect Mana to get a speed boost. Drop it on your path and retrieve it for a swift return.

Short Playtime, High Replay Value

The core game takes around 2–4 hours to complete. For those seeking more, higher difficulty levels and procedurally generated tree placements offer further challenges.

Without Words

Reenchant features no spoken or written words. Discover its secrets by observing and exploring your way through the forest.

Why I made Reenchant

Reenchant was born in the depths of winter, when my longing for green trees became too strong to ignore. I turned to Kingdom, a game I’ve always loved for its mystical forests, but felt sad when, in the end, all the trees were chopped down.

I wanted to reverse that feeling, to create a game where nature fights back and beauty triumphs over destruction.

I find peace in my daily walks through the forest and hope some of that meditative joy has found its way into Reenchant.
