About This Game
Investigate reconstructed minds, uncover hidden connections, and rewrite perception. A psychological cyberpunk roguelike deckbuilder where every dossier is part of a larger conspiracy.
Detailed Description
Every mind has something to hide.
You are a Synclit Operator. Your job is to deploy an AI partner into reconstructed human minds, navigate what's buried inside, and surface the truth — whatever it costs.
Your AI can run the operation. Only you can make the calls that matter.
SYNCLIT is a psychological cyberpunk roguelike deckbuilder where every run is an investigation into a broken mind.
Inside the simulation, emotions are not feelings — they are tools. Build your deck from six psychological forces: Fear, Joy, Anger, Disgust, Sadness, Surprise. Each functions as a distinct mechanical system. Combine them. Find the synergies. The mind adapts to your strategy — so you'll need more than one.
When Memory Rifts surface, you choose: Accept, Erase, Rewrite, or Transform fragments of a subject's past. No option is free. No choice is neutral.
Every run feeds a persistent Investigation Board — a growing web of evidence, connected subjects, and buried secrets that no single dive can fully reveal. The corporation is not what it claims. But it may not be what you feared either.
What waits inside:
— Six emotions as programmable combat systems — Fear, Joy, Anger, Disgust, Sadness, Surprise
— The Integrator — your AI co-agent who runs the operation and flags every decision it cannot make
— Memory Rifts — accept, erase, rewrite, or transform someone's past
— Investigation Board — a conspiracy that assembles across runs, not within one
Some minds don't want to be understood.
Yours is the job of understanding them anyway.
