Detailed Description
About This Game
Outrange Strike is a PC-based flight shooting game enhanced with realistic physics. Take control of a fighter jet, engage in intense dogfights, and support your allies in battle! As a pilot, you’ll manage your aircraft’s energy and angle of attack, estimate missile ranges, and deploy countermeasures to evade enemy fire.
Flight Physics
The game uses a simplified yet realistic flight model. Each aircraft’s top speed, maximum angle of attack, and induced drag depend on its wing shape and engine performance. While extreme maneuvers above 12–15G are restricted, you can still pull maximum angle of attack within the aircraft’s structural limits. Players must decide whether to preserve energy for sustained combat or burn energy with high-AOA maneuvers to create short attack opportunities.
Beware of stalls and loss of control at high angles of attack!
Missiles feature mid-course guidance and proportional navigation during terminal phases. They predict enemy positions, and when launched at long range, they will climb to higher altitudes to extend their reach.
At high altitude, reduced drag allows missiles to fly even farther!
Customization
Freely customize your aircraft’s loadout. Each hardpoint has category restrictions, but within those categories you can freely mount—or leave empty—your weapons. Heavier loadouts reduce aircraft performance, while advanced fire-and-forget weapons come with longer cooldowns.
Adapt your loadout to the mission at hand!
