Rite of Osiris is a love letter to the classics of survival horror, a first-person psychological horror adventure set deep beneath the sands of Egypt.
When an expedition seeking the secret to alchemical gold vanishes without a trace, you descend into the forgotten catacombs to uncover their fate… and perhaps, to finish their work.
But in the darkness below, something ancient stirs.
Something that should have remained buried.
THE DESCENT INTO DARKNESS
Six months ago, an expedition was sent here to uncover the secret of the Magnum Opus — the legendary formula said to transform lead into gold.
Their writings spoke of “Sulphurous Powder,” “Aqua Regia,” and “The Philosopher’s Stone.”
None of them ever returned.
Now, guided by their journals and your own obsession, you step into the tomb to discover what they unearthed… and what destroyed them.
“My only regret is that I will not be able to share this discovery with my fellow man.
I will soon die here, trapped by whatever manner of demon roams these accursed halls.”
THE HORROR BENEATH THE SAND
You are not alone in these tombs.
An ancient creature, awakened by your intrusion, stalks the shadows. It hunts by sound and sight, and you are its prey.
Hide, stay silent, and keep your torch close… but beware, every flicker of light may give you away.
