About This Game

The second installment in Saikyo's vertical scrolling shooters, following the 1993 Best Shooting Game award winner “Sengoku Ace”.

Detailed Description

The second installment in Saikyo's vertical scrolling shooters, following the 1993 Best Shooting Game award winner “Sengoku Ace”.

19th Century Europe.

A tale set around the time mankind first succeeded in powered flight.

“Gather my fragments, and I shall rise again. The wish of he who breaks my seal shall be granted.”

Fragments of the legendary “Atler's Magic Mirror” discovered by a French archaeologist.

Five ‘Sky Adventurers’ (pronounced “Gunbards”), each harboring their own secret wish, take flight in search of the fragments scattered across the globe.

● 8-way joystick + 2 buttons.

Hold and release the shot button to unleash each character's unique special attack.

● Shots power up in 4 stages with each item collected!!

● 2-player simultaneous play, mid-game joinable.

The Little Great Wizard

Marion MARION From England, Age 13

Special Attack: Fire Rabbit

Bomb: Wind Shaper

A boisterous girl who claims to be “the descendant of the Great Wizard Merlin.”

Though still inexperienced, she wields wind magic and can fly using her broom as a vehicle.

This time, she's run away from home under the guise of training, but her real goal is to find the magic mirror.

She has a cute face but a strong-willed personality. She's dark-hearted, willing to go to any lengths to prepare for mischief, and seems to harbor sinister ambitions this time too.

Chinese Female Mage

 YUAN-NANG From China Age Unknown

Special Attack: Ruyi Staff Hell Punch

Bomb: Clone Assault Squad

A beautiful female mage who wields dubious mystical arts, her very humanity uncertain.

She possesses the ability to generate small clouds beneath her feet for flight.

Despite her appearance, she is intensely combative, seemingly driven purely by a desire to pursue “anyone stronger than herself.”

She joins the battle for the magic mirror this time, though her purpose remains unclear.

Rumors persist about this enigmatic beauty—that she can transform in three stages, or that her true form is actually a monkey.

Sky Adventurer Scientist

Ash ASH German Origin 28 years old

Special Attack: Wave Blast

Bomb: Super Science Bomb

A cool adventurer with the titles of scientist and archaeologist.

A man driven by pure curiosity and adventurous spirit, he had been immersed in researching “flying machines” for the past few years.

He recently completed his backpack-mounted propulsion unit, the “Rocket Pack,” and succeeded in flight tests. But no sooner had he heard rumors of the Magic Mirror than his burning curiosity overtook him, propelling him into a new grand adventure.

Flying Robot Soldier

VALNUS

From Russia

6 months old

Special Attack: Rocket Punch

Bomb: VALNUS Buster

The first flying autonomous weapon developed by Imperial Russian military forces.

This ultimate robot centers on a rocket propulsion system, equipped with various weapons and a spring-wound thought circuit.

It reportedly ceases thinking unless its spring is wound every six hours.

It always operates under military command; this time, the Emperor personally ordered its retrieval of the magic mirror. However, it seems a semblance of “self-awareness” has recently begun sprouting within its thought circuit.

The Master Carpenter of Love and Guts

Tetsu, Japanese, 60 years old

Special Attack: Dragon Rocket Barrage

Bomb: Great Edo Fire

A solitary master carpenter who lost his lover in an accident in his youth and has remained unmarried for 40 years since.

He traveled to France for work several years ago and subsequently embarked on a journey through Europe. Hearing rumors of the Magic Mirror while traveling, he resolved to undertake one final adventure.

Possessing a physique of astonishing strength unmatched by his age, he uses a man-powered helicopter he built himself for this adventure. His limitless muscle power allows him to fly, defying aerodynamics.
