Nevaeh is a first-person psychological horror investigation game about cases, memories, psychological patterns, and the entities known as the Noise.

You are an investigator working through a growing archive of cases. Each case contains the story of a person whose life has become connected to something that should not exist.

Your job isn't to fight it.

Your job is to understand it.

Every investigation asks you to examine the information you've been given, listen to what happened, recognize the patterns hidden inside the case, and determine which Noise is responsible.

But the deeper you go, the harder it becomes to separate what you're investigating from what the investigation is revealing about you.

INVESTIGATE THE CASE

Each case gives you a collection of information that must be examined and connected.

Read the case.

Listen to the recordings.

Study the evidence.

Examine the psychological information.

Look for patterns.

Then make your diagnosis.

The information isn't simply there to tell you a story.

It's there to help you solve the case.

THE NOISE

The Noise are entities connected to the Void.

Each Noise represents a distinct psychological pattern, with its own core belief, thinking pattern, and associated cross patterns.

Understanding the Noise is essential to understanding the cases.

You aren't simply asking:

"What happened?"

You're asking:

"What is behind it?"

And most importantly:

"Which Noise am I looking at?"

THE INVESTIGATION SYSTEM

Nevaeh's investigations combine several systems that work together to reveal the truth behind each case.

Case Files

Every investigation begins with a case containing information about the person and the situation surrounding them.

Audio

Listen to recordings and interviews connected to the case. Sometimes what is said matters.

Sometimes how it is said matters more.

Reflection

The apartment contains a reflection system connected to your investigations, allowing you to revisit information and examine what you've uncovered.

Cross Patterns

Each Noise contains associated patterns that must be identified and understood as part of the investigation.

Diagnosis

After examining the available information, you must determine which Noise is responsible.

Choose carefully.

Your diagnosis becomes part of your progression through the archive.

THE APARTMENT

The investigation doesn't happen in a disposable menu.

The apartment is part of Nevaeh.

As cases are completed, the space changes and new information becomes available.

Objects, systems, and discoveries gradually turn the apartment into a physical record of your progress.

The more you investigate, the more there is to discover.

12 CASES — FOR NOW

The current release contains 12 handcrafted cases.

Each case introduces its own story, patient, evidence, audio, psychological information, and Noise connection.

But 12 is not the end.

Nevaeh is being developed as a growing archive of investigations.

New cases will be added weekly or biweekly, expanding the world, the stories, and the mythology surrounding the Void and the Noise.

When you've completed every currently available case, the game will tell you:

ALL CASES COMPLETE

You've reached the end of the current case files.

More cases will be added soon.

Then the archive waits for the next one.

A GROWING WORLD

Nevaeh isn't designed around a single campaign that ends when the credits roll.

It's designed around an ever-growing collection of cases.

New investigations can introduce:

• New characters

• New stories

• New Noise

• New audio

• New evidence

• New psychological patterns

• New discoveries within the apartment

• New pieces of the larger mystery

Every case adds another fragment.

Eventually, those fragments may begin to form a picture of something much larger.

HORROR WITHOUT COMBAT

There are no guns.

No conventional combat system.

No army of monsters waiting around every corner.

The horror of Nevaeh comes from investigation, uncertainty, atmosphere, and realization.

You're not trying to overpower what you're investigating.

You're trying to understand it.

And sometimes understanding something is far worse.

Not every submission will become part of the game, but some may become part of the archive.

SESSION LENGTH

Cases are designed to be individual investigations rather than one continuous uninterrupted campaign.

The amount of time each case takes depends on how thoroughly you investigate, how quickly you recognize the information you're given, and how much of the surrounding environment you explore.

THE ARCHIVE IS OPEN

12 cases are waiting.

But that's only what's available today.

The archive will continue to grow.

New cases will arrive.

New stories will be uncovered.

New Noise will emerge.

And somewhere inside all of it is a larger truth waiting to be found.
