The original V1200 quickly became known as one of the fastest right-out-of-the-box models – also capable of unexpectedly stable slow flight for easier landings thanks to its functional flaps – with impressive aerobatic capabilities. Now it's available again with larger, more durable and reliable retract units, a higher visibility color scheme and improved finish, plus the proven high-performance brushless power system that lets you choose how ballistic you want to be.

This model is equipped with Horizon Hobby and Spektrum exclusive AS3X (Artificial Stabilization – 3-aXis) and optional-use SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) Select technologies, and when SAFE Select is turned on using the mode switch (B on the Spektrum InterLink DX controller) it offers:

• Pitch and Bank Angle Limits: These envelope limits keep the airplane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent excessive climb or dive angles.

• Automatic Self-Leveling: The airplane instantly returns to and holds level flight when the sticks are released and in the center position. It’s also helpful for keeping the wings level during takeoffs and landings.
