Broken Crown

Broken Crown is a fantasy real-time strategy game about building a kingdom, managing an economy and commanding armies across large-scale battles.

Choose between Humans and Orcs, experience the war through two different campaigns, fight in Skirmish, survive Endless battles, play online, or create your own battlefields with Map Studio and Steam Workshop.

Build. Expand. Command. Conquer.

Recruit different unit types, organize them into formations and lead your forces across the battlefield.

Use Square, Wedge, Circle and Wide formations to control how your army moves and approaches combat.

Develop your military, unlock stronger troops and use faction-specific units to reinforce the strengths of your army.

Humans favor disciplined and defensive forces, while Orcs bring a more aggressive approach to battle.

Every army needs a kingdom behind it.

Gather resources, construct buildings, expand your settlement and develop your military infrastructure before taking the fight to the enemy.

Protect important positions, secure resources and decide when to invest in your economy and when to prepare for war.

Play as Humans or Orcs and experience the conflict from two different perspectives.

Humans believe the Orcs have invaded their lands and fight to reclaim what was lost.

The Orcs, however, are fleeing a much greater threat and must decide whether survival will come through coexistence or conquest.

Broken Crown currently features 20 campaign missions, divided between:

• 10 Human missions

• 10 Orc missions

Campaign missions include defensive battles, resource objectives, convoy escorts, diplomacy, sieges, multiple commanders and a wide variety of environments.

Build your own maps directly inside Broken Crown with Map Studio.

Shape the battlefield, place resources, choose starting positions, decorate the environment and create maps for 2 to 8 players.

Custom maps can support up to 1,024 placed objects, giving creators plenty of room to build detailed battlefields. Pasted markdown

Publish your creations to Steam Workshop, download maps made by other players and expand your collection of battlefields.

And custom maps aren't limited to single-player matches.

Workshop maps can also be played in multiplayer.

Campaign
Follow the Human and Orc storylines across handcrafted missions.

Skirmish
Build your base and fight AI opponents across standalone battlefields.

Endless
Develop your defenses and survive increasingly dangerous enemy waves.

Multiplayer
Create or join player-hosted matches, choose your faction and battle on official or Workshop maps.

Not every faction you encounter needs to be destroyed.

Some campaign missions feature neutral settlements with their own workers, buildings and economy.
