Detailed Description
Driven by my love for this airport, I created this work. It is a simulator that records the flight schedules across different seasons since the airport opened on March 31, 2016. Players can freely move the camera to view and explore the interior of BPE Airport’s terminal, as well as the aprons, runways, and aircraft.
Currently, the game includes flight schedules from the spring/summer season of 2016 through the winter season of 2019.
BPE Airport also hosts a large number of general aviation aircraft; I have modeled only one of the types. If you would like to make the airport feel more lively, you can try adding more small aircraft to fly around the airport—this is the only part of the game that players can manually control. To ensure the integrity of the game content, players cannot interfere with scheduled flights operating under the recorded timetables.
The terminal in the scene was modeled by myself in December 2021, with reference to mostly photos I took during my personal travels. However, some reference materials remain incomplete, such as the domestic arrival corridors and baggage carousels, and I look forward to seeing them supplemented in the near future.
