Type Hatcher lives at the edge of your screen while you work, write, or browse. Every key you press chips away at your eggs and plays a note from the pets in your party, so your typing turns into music.

Expeditions

Hatch eggs to collect dozens of species across different biomes. Each pet is a different instrument, so what you hear depends on which ones you bring along. A party of grass pets sounds nothing like a party of cave pets.

Compact mode

Shrink the whole game into a thin bar pinned to any edge of your desktop. Your eggs glow in time with your typing and you'll catch the occasional shimmer for a coin bonus, all without stealing focus from your real work.

Idle

Your pets earn coins and charge on their own. Send them on expeditions, breed rare hybrids, and spend what you earn on upgrades and more hatch slots.

Keystroke detection

About keystroke detection: Type Hatcher can optionally count keypresses system-wide so your pets keep playing while you're in other apps. No content is ever recorded, only the count. It's off by default, opt-in on first launch, and you can toggle it in Settings anytime.
