You are the dispatcher. From a desk overlooking the entire line, you keep dozens of trains running on time — Railway Dispatcher Pro is an operations-management simulator built around Centralized Traffic Control (CTC), the way real dispatchers run a railway.

NEW: Build Your Own Line — Map Maker (Beta)

Choose "Map Maker (Beta)" on the title screen to build a line from scratch. Place stations, connect them, and the signals, levers, and routes are laid out for you. Your line appears in Sandbox and the Diagram Editor, so you can go straight from building it to writing its timetable and dispatching it.

・Easy mode: four tools — Vehicles, Stations, Connect Stations, and Link Distant Tracks — are all you need. Pick a track layout to place a station; a few clicks lay the track, blocks, and signals between stations

・Advanced mode: place and edit track circuits, switches, levers, routes, and signals one by one. Switch modes at any time — both produce the same line

・Before saving, a to-do list flags anything left unfinished and takes you straight to it. Undo/redo (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z) supported

As a beta, it can build lines like the official maps, but it does not yet cover every track layout found on real railways (for example, loop lines whose start and end are the same station are not supported). Maps you make may need adjusting after future updates. Your work is not saved automatically — save often (F5). Please send bugs and requests from File → "Report a bug / request…" in the Map Maker.

The Whole Line at a Glance — CTC Dispatch

A CTC board shows every train, signal, and cleared route in real time. Where trains are bunching up, where delays are about to spread — the board tells you everything. Click a train to highlight the route it is about to take in orange.

Read the Diagram

The dispatcher's weapon is the train diagram. Planned paths, delay-adjusted predictions, and actual performance are drawn together, so you can see where trouble is heading before it arrives. Working between board and diagram to build your next move — that is the heart of dispatching.

Take Back the Timetable — Real-Time Operations

Holds (including holding every train in one direction), delayed departures, extra stops, skipped stops, short-turns, turnbacks, relinked operations. Every card you play is reflected on the diagram instantly. Which train goes first? Where do you turn back? There is no single right answer.

Trouble Strikes Without Warning — Incidents

A breakdown on the main line at the height of the morning rush. Speed restrictions in rain and wind. Power failures and high winds cutting a whole section out of service — the disruptions that hit real railways hit your board too. You can also trigger incidents yourself, anywhere and any time.

Five Lines, 22 Disruptions

From a suburban railway to a downtown subway, an airport line, and a shinkansen — five lines with very different characters, each with scenarios based on the kinds of disruption real railways face.

・Suburban railway (Sendai – Hiyoridai, 13 stations, ★1): single-track passing loops and rapid/local connections. 5 scenarios

・Boso peninsula railway (Chiba – Anegasaki – Hatsudensho-mae and a branch, 20 stations, ★2): a main line and a branch, with overtakes at passing stations. 5 scenarios

・Downtown subway (Hiyoshi – Yokohama – Kamiooka, 25 stations, ★2): trains every two and a half minutes in the morning rush. 5 scenarios

・Airport line (Sapporo – New Chitose Airport – Lake Shikotsu Onsen, 30 stations, ★3): subway through-running, quadruple track, and single track on one line; 732 trains on weekdays. 5 scenarios

・Sea of Japan shinkansen (Kanazawa – Aomori – Sapporo, 28 stations, ★2): trains at 275 km/h, protected by two-aspect red/green ATC signals. 2 scenarios

Graded by Clear Conditions

Each scenario sets clear conditions — keep the final delay under X minutes, never strand a train between stations, run at least N departures in a direction — tracked live on screen as you play. Same disruption, different dispatching, different results.

Start Any Time of Day — Sandbox

Pick a line and a timetable, then start from the first train or from any hour of the day. Practice just the evening rush, or watch the late-night return to the depot — no waiting through hours at high speed.

Write Your Own Timetable — Diagram Editor

Design every train path yourself: dwell times, passing loops, turnback operations. Watching hundreds of trains run to a timetable you wrote is a joy like no other.

No railway knowledge required. Five tutorials walk you from the basics up to advanced manual routing, with an on-screen guide frame pointing at exactly what to press next. When you are ready, take on harder lines and scenarios.
