DeskForge - Pilot Dial Pack

Pilot watches were built to be read in one glance, in bad light, with your hands busy doing something else. That is exactly the job a desktop clock has. This pack drops five flight-instrument faces into DeskForge's clock widget, so the time sits out on your wallpaper with the confidence of a cockpit gauge instead of hiding in a corner of the taskbar.

How it lives on the desktop

• The second hand sweeps. It redraws about thirty times a second, so it glides the way a mechanical movement does — no once-a-second tick.

• Any size you like. Scale it freely, from a small watch in the corner to something that fills half the desktop. The artwork is drawn at high resolution, so it stays sharp all the way up.

• Opacity from 30% to fully solid. Fade it into the wallpaper, or let it own the desk.

• It stays behind everything. No taskbar entry, no Alt-Tab clutter, and clicking it never steals focus from whatever you're typing in.

• Multiple monitors, almost no cost. Put a dial on each screen if you like. DeskForge measures its own CPU and memory and prints the numbers in its own menu, so you don't have to take our word for it.

Let the collection take turns

Pick the faces you actually like and the carousel rotates them for you, anywhere from once a minute to once a day — thirty minutes by default — in order or at random. It only ever brings up faces you own, so nothing you can't use lands on your desktop.

Change the strap, change the watch

The Watch Strap Pack adds 16 straps in leather, steel link, rubber and NATO nylon, and any of them will go with any of these five faces. Lay one flat beneath the dial, or wrap it around in 3D. Sold separately.
