Tilefall is a fast-paced platform survival game built around one simple threat: every step can erase the path behind you.

Sprint, jump, recover, and improvise as the arena breaks apart beneath you. Collect what you can, spend powerups at the right moment, and reach safety before there is nowhere left to stand.

SURVIVE THE FALL

The arena is not a static obstacle course. Tiles react, collapse, and disappear as the run unfolds, forcing you to read the board and commit to a route before it is gone.

Every run becomes a balance between speed and control:

• Keep moving as safe ground vanishes behind you.

• Plan routes around gaps, unstable tiles, and shifting hazards.

• Recover from mistakes with precise movement and well-timed abilities.

• Push for collectibles and score without trapping yourself.

JOURNEY MODE

Take on six structured Journeys made of increasingly demanding levels. Each Journey introduces tighter layouts, faster pressure, more dangerous gaps, and less room for hesitation.

Complete levels, preserve your remaining lives, improve your time, and build a stronger score across the full Journey. Finishing a level grants an additional life for the current run, rewarding consistent play as the difficulty rises.

• Progress through six distinct Journeys and their levels.

• Track attempts, completions, failures, collectibles, tiles fallen, best times, and best scores.

• Replay completed content to improve your route and ranking.

• Use level-by-level pacing designed to steadily increase pressure.

CLIMB MODE

Go up instead of forward. Climb builds an ascent from branching tile routes, gaps, elevation changes, bounce pads, checkpoints, and optional shortcuts.

Read the route, follow glowing wisps through available paths, and recover at milestones as the course grows more demanding. Later climb stages add fragile tile clusters that begin to fall after contact, forcing faster decisions as you approach the top.

• Choose between branching routes and reconnecting paths.

• Use sprinting, jumping, diving, bounce pads, and recovery movement to keep climbing.

• Reach checkpoints that protect your progress after a fall.

• Race other players to the top in multiplayer Climb matches.

ENDLESS MODES

There is no finish line. Stay alive as long as possible while the challenge keeps escalating.

Classic Endless keeps the collapsing arena going until your movement finally gives out. Endless Climb sends you upward through an increasingly difficult single-player ascent, with dedicated statistics and leaderboard tracking for your best climb.

CHALLENGES

Dedicated Challenges isolate movement techniques so you can train them without committing to a full run. Work on bunny-hop rhythm, long gaps, precision landings, single-tile jumps, wall jumps, climbing, and momentum before taking those skills into the rest of Tilefall.

CUSTOM GAMES: CO-OP AND PvP

Create a private match, invite friends, and configure the rules around the way your group wants to play.

Choose cooperative or competitive play where supported, then adjust match settings such as lives, pacing, spawning, difficulty, checkpoints, powerups, and other mode-specific behavior. Custom games can also be used to experiment with different rules and ways to play.

• Host and join multiplayer lobbies.

• Play cooperative or competitive rule sets.

• Customize match settings before the game begins.

• Track wins across repeated matches while the lobby remains open.

• Spectate after elimination and remain involved through the final result.

BUILD YOUR OWN MAPS

Tilefall includes an integrated custom map editor built around the same tile-based movement that drives the rest of the game. Design your own arenas, obstacle courses, vertical climbs, precision routes, and experimental layouts directly inside Tilefall.

Shape the course with custom elevations, specialized tiles, bounce pads, player spawns, goals, checkpoints, layers, groups, and other editing tools. Preview your creation from multiple views, test it directly in the game, and keep refining it until it plays the way you want.

• Organize complex creations with groups and layers.

• Use editor tools for drawing paths, transforming selections, repeating patterns, and shaping larger structures.

Publish your custom maps directly to the Steam Workshop and explore maps created by other players. Subscribe to community creations, bring them into Tilefall, and use custom maps to keep the game evolving beyond the built-in courses.
