What the demo contains
A separate case, written for the demo alone, playable from beginning to ending.
Thirteen places across the estate and the town. Only ten free actions. Evidence stacks into three columns — motive, opportunity and proof — and each night your notebook writes itself in your own words: the same feel as the full game, in one self-contained case.
Three endings. Name them with all three columns, fail to speak at all, or accuse the wrong person.
How it differs from the full game
The culprit in the demo is always the same person. In the full game, any of the four could be the killer
Not one of the four truths of the full game is included in the demo
The case file, the record across playthroughs, and the reflection on your investigative habits are in the full game only
Demo progress does not carry over to the full game (it ships as a separate app, so saves live in different places)
