《茂伸奇谈》中文版使用了最终优化的剧情版本进行制作，并且同时收录了PSV版《ものべの-pure smile-》与PC版《ものべの-happy end-》各自拥有的独占剧情。可以说是迄今为止集《茂伸奇谈》内容之大成的版本。
《茂伸奇谈-HAPPY END-》是《茂伸奇谈-Monobeno-》的续集故事（FAN DISC）。《茂伸奇谈》是日本美少女游戏新锐品牌Lose推出的视觉小说游戏，由HIKARI FIELD发行简体中文版与繁体中文版。
本次《茂伸奇谈-HAPPY END-》DLC包括的精彩内容有哪些呢？首先当然是备受大家期待的《茂伸奇谈》三条女主角线路的后续故事：分别是「夏叶After Story」、「爱丽丝After Story」和「栖美After Story」。需要特别提醒的是，栖美线才是后传故事中的最吃重的部分呦！另外在「栖美After Story」的故事开始之前，玩家会先进入「飞车角的过去」的特别故事，这也是本次栖美线的重要组成部分。另外还要提醒大家的是，本次的《HAPPY END》中文版还收录了大量追加短篇故事，这些故事会在通关各条女主角后续故事后在主界面下的“章节选择”中解锁。
这里是民风淳朴与世隔绝，信仰着人类与妖怪共存的山中深村——茂伸。
主人公泽井透生长于此。
透相依为命的妹妹泽井夏叶曾经因故失去了一些记忆。两人搬出茂伸许久之后，再次踏上这片充满妖怪奇谈的土地。
久别重逢的除了高龄的唐伞妖飞车角，还有两位异性少女：青梅竹马有岛爱丽丝和妖怪赤赤熊栖美。
怎料夏叶在夏日祭典“面具舞”时倒下，突然变成了成年的体型，这突如其来异常的生长摧残着妹妹的身心。
是顽疾还是作祟？在医学与奇谈之间，透寻觅着拯救夏叶的办法。借助爱丽丝或是栖美力量的过程中，早已埋下的情愫会变成怎样的故事，和透相依为命的夏叶又会何去何从？
